Arsalan serves some of the best Mughlai food in the
city. You will find such food also in their Park Street branch .Their Biryani is
one of the best in this city of joy. It gives me great joy to say this because
the Biryani is non greasy and does not leave a heavy feeling in the stomach. Not
only is the rice used in making the Biryani is of good quality; it
has been cooked in the right amount of masala and with lots of love. Because of
the right cooking process the meat also turns out to be tender and juicy.
Arsalan offers a wide range of kebabs. I personally
love their special kebabs that come with cheese on meat followed by their Reshmi
and Tikka Kebabs for both chicken and mutton. The Kebabs are not only well
marinated but well cooked also. They are always consistent in their cooking of
tandoori items. You will never have charred Chicken Tandoori at Arsalan. For
the side dish, order for Mutton or Chicken Rezala and have it with Roomali
roti. Even their chicken Bharta tastes divine with plain Nan. If you have all
the time in the world and are not terribly hungry then their Murgh Musallam is
an experience in itself. It is worth all
the waiting in the world for it to be served two hours after you have ordered
for it. Their Chaaps are to die for. Once you have tasted their Chaaps you will
be begging for more.
Having been a
regular at Arsalan for over three years now, I can safely say that their
standard of food and service has remained much the same. Their food is rich
without being one. The service is prompt and efficient and the servers are well
mannered. The prices at which the food is available are reasonable.
