outstanding and appealing aspect of Square 4o5. Even though the menu is limited and
lacks variety, nonetheless, all the items listed are always available.
Their food portions are overwhelmingly generous. One of their most popular dishes is their
grilled chicken that comes with either lemon butter sauce or mushroom sauce. The
flavour of the chicken is spot on, and the mushroom or lemon butter sauce comes
with the required smokiness needed in such a dish. Similarly, the sweet chilli sauce that comes
with the beer battered prawns and chicken strips greatly enhance the taste of
these dishes. Even the peanut butter sauce that accompanies the satays boosts
the overall taste of the satays (for some, their satays might require extra
salt).
For beverages, their iced tea was reasonably good (I tried this), though
cold coffee with cream and their perfectly brewed latte are some of the more
popular options here. Their pasta dishes are not only simple but contain a fair
quantity of meat. Other items that deserve equal attention is their
Mediterranean platter and their mushroom on toast.
Apart from their other dessert options, their special dessert is
truly special - toffee coated walnuts served with vanilla ice cream and
chocolate sauce. Dining here can be a tad expensive over regular restaurants
but is cheaper than high end restaurants. All in all, the staff is courteous
and the service is prompt and efficient. This is a great place to have your
meal whilst listening to some soothing music as well, making it great for a
date.
