Tasty treats from your local food joint!

Rating: 3 out of 5

Last year in the month of October, after dropping some relatives off at Sealdah station I had the opportunity to checked out Chinese Cuisine at 104/A, APC Road. The restaurant beckons you with its heady aroma of Chinese fare which is served in a cosy and warm environment. The comfortable sitting arrangement and a well prepared menu are some of the positives of this restaurant. The food items are priced reasonably and judging by the food quality, the rate quoted is justified. The service is fast and efficient. The competent and well mannered servers are very considerate and attentive to the needs of diners.

Begin your meal here with soup options like chicken hot and sour soup, chicken sweet corn soup and Thai soup. Alternatively, their well made and authentic Tibetan chicken thukpa soup can also be tried. The soup immediately warms your heart with its generous amount of meat and vegetables well cooked with very long noodles. Similarly, their noodles (whether hakka or gravy style) are filling because they contain a good helping of vegetables and meat pieces. Side dishes for the main course are not only tasty and delicious but are light on your tummy as well, and spicy dishes like Sichuan chicken, chilli chicken, chilli fish and chilli prawn do not leave any kind of burning feeling in your stomach. If you are a rice lover, do not hesitate to order their mixed fried rice.

Your meal can be rounded off with basic ice cream options like vanilla ice cream, two in one and butter scotch – there’s nothing else available.
