Even in places like the Jessore Road area,
you will come across some very good food outlets that serve awesome Chinese
fare. The food joint Chinese Brasserie
is one such place that needs mentioning in this review. The restaurant was a
chance discovery on a hot summer day in the month of May. The restaurant might
look ordinary but their comfortable sitting arrangements will definitely make
having food here a comfortable experience. The service is the sort that will
leave no room for complaint. The servers are friendly and well mannered and the
food is served in a prompt and efficient manner; you get it straight from the
kitchen, fresh and piping hot! With regards to their food they do not offer
anything fancy. Here, you will only get regular Chinese basics. The food
options are not only delightful to taste but stomach filling as well.
Typical veg starters like chilli baby corn
and chilli mushroom can make the day of any vegetarian. Even their non veg
starters are not far behind in satisfying the appetite of meat eaters. Among
their many options you can try their chilli chicken (dry), golden fried prawns,
chicken in dry lemon chilli sauce and Hakka chicken. Their chicken momos are
wonderful and make a good juicy starter option too.
As side dishes and for your main course,
the items on offer won’t leave you feeling disappointed. Items worth having and
which you should try here are sweet and sour prawn, chilli garlic fish, hot
garlic prawn, honey chilli chicken and Manchurian fish. The servings are ample
and the meat pieces are tender and juicy. Their staples (whether it is their
fried rice or noodles) contain a generous amount of meat and vegetables.
