This is the 30th match of the fifth session of IPL where Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play against each other at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on April 23, 2012. The match will commence at 8.00 PM IST. This is a match between one of the top teams of IPL 2012 and a team full of ace players.
Being on the second position in the Points Table, Rajasthan Royals has given an outstanding performance in this tournament with 4 winning matches in hand out of 7 matches played. In the short IPL history, these two teams have faced each other 8 times so far and among the eight matches, both have victories four times each. So, it is quite difficult to predict the match result for today. In the last match against Bangalore team, Rajasthan bagged a victory and so this time Bangalore will be keen to get a win. Moreover, home ground is an additional advantage for this ‘Halla Bol’ team.
When Rajasthan is in full swing to take the advantage of their home ground, Bangalore is looking forward to take revenge. Studded with a number of talented players, this team has done a fabulous job in their last one or two matches. West Indies veteran batsman, Chris Gayle is in his usual outstanding form to get 80 above run in the last two matches, which has paved the way for a glorious win for the team. Another outstanding batsman is Ab de Villers who has also given a good contribution for a great total for the team. Virat Kohli doesn’t have a good run so far in this league and so he will also look for a good run. Besides such fabulous batsmen, bowlers like Daniel Vettori and Zaheer Khan can easily restrict the opponent within a low score.
