This is the 26th match of this
IPL where two potential teams of IPL will confront each other at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on April 21,
2012. This match between Chennai Super Kings
and Rajasthan Royals will
commence at 4 PM sharp. This will be a great match to watch because on one side
Dravid is standing with his glorious squad and on the other side, Dhoni is
ready with his strong and explosive team to get a win in this match.
Although Chennai team is
standing at the 5th position in the Points Table with equal number
of victory and lost matches, the team is one of the favorites in this IPL
because of their explosive batting line up. Batsmen like Plessis, Badrinath,
Raina, Morkel are the megastars of this team. In its last match against Pune
Warriors, Badrinath and Plessis made an outstanding partnership to get a good
score for the team. For today’s match also, the team is looking to make a good
score which can be a winning factor for this team. Their bowling lineup is not
as strong as Rajasthan and so the batsmen have to take the responsibility to
pocket another win in this match.
This year, Rajasthan team
is back in their usual form like 2008 when they became the 1st IPL
champion. In this IPL 2012, Rajasthan is getting one win after the other and
among the 6 matches played; they won 4 matches and lost 2. Under Dravid’s
superb captaincy, the team has once more returned to their original pace with a
very strong and attacking bowling line up which, is enough to keep the opponent
team under pressure. Along with their bowling squad, Rahane and Shah can also
take the responsibility to make a 180+ score for their team which Chennai have
to chase against their attacking bowling to get the victory.
However, home ground is
always an additional advantage for any team and so it is quite difficult to
predict the result of this match where Dravid and Dhoni are ready to confront each other with their
strong and powerful squads. So, let us all hope for the best for our respective
favorite teams till the end of the match.
