On April 4, the two-time IPL champion, Chennai Super Kings lost its match against Mumbai Indians in the inaugural match of 2012 IPL. Today, at 8.00 PM, Chennai Super Kings will play its second match against Deccan Chargers at Y.S.R Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. This is the second match of the day; the first is between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils from 4.00 PM.
After batting miserably against mighty Mumbai team, MS Dhoni and his team members need to give a much improved performance to get a victory against Deccan Chargers. It is a fact that the bowling performance of the team was also not so perfect on that night to defeat Mumbai. So, this match is a very important match for both the teams because after losing its first match when Chennai team is looking for its first win in this IPL, Deccan Chargers will also try to initiate its 2012 IPL campaign with a victory match. For Chennai, Deccan is apparently not so strong opponent team as Mumbai.
Deccan Chargers, on the other side will play its debut match today for IPL 2012. Cameron White has a good number of experienced bowlers and if these bowlers can give their best performance, it will not take much time to defeat the most consistent team of IPL history. The only drawback for Deccan team is the absence of Ishant Sharma who is out of the team because of a serious injury. So, let us all wait and see what happens at the end of the day: who gets the ultimate victory!
