PREVIEW OF THE 34TH MATCH OF IPL 2012: ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE V CHENNAI SUPER KINGS



This is the 34th match of the fifth session of this IPL, which is between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. This is the second match of the day, which will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore at 8.00 PM IST. Two powerful teams of this IPL are facing each other to make this evening, a breathtaking and exciting one. There is high expectation from both the teams because both are in full swing to win matches. Moreover, the teams have already faced each other in this IPL where the outcome was similar to the 2011 IPL final. Bangalore team once more suffered a loss against Chennai. So this time, the latter is eyeing to get a win to make an out of the trend result.
Although, Bangalore has started this IPL with a disappointing loss, the team has bounced back in a winning streak and is bagging one win after the other. In their previous match, they defeated Rajasthan team by 46 runs. Studded with A-class batsmen, it is quite easy for this team to get a good and challenging score for the opponent. Although Chris Gayle was not in his fiery form in last match, he can come up with his incredible innings at any time, which simply paves the path for a glorious victory for the team. Besides him, Dilshan and Villers are also outstanding but Virat Kohli hasn’t yet proved his ability in this season. In the bowling line up, Captain Vettori and Zaheer Khan along with youngsters like Patel and Appanna have done a great job throughout this IPL.
Chennai, although lost 3 matches, is now in full swing to get another victory to retain its position in the IPL table like last two seasons. Presently standing in the fifth position, the team is ready to win today’s match after getting a wonderful victory against Pune in their last match. The batting line up of this team is also very strong like Bangalore with star batsmen like Plessis, Raina, Badrinath and Jadeja. Kulasekara has proved himself as an outstanding bowler and a perfect replacement of Morkel. He along with Bravo and Ashwin can easily create pressure over the opponent by taking the important wickets of Bangalore team.
So, it is quite evident that today’s match is full of stars from either team to fight a tight battle between two potential teams of this IPL.
